SAN MATEO, July 25, 2018 – Today, SurveyMonkey, the world’s leading People Powered Data platform, announced a partnership with Stripe, the technology company building economic infrastructure for the internet, to bring one of the most requested features—payments—to surveys. Businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations and individuals can now collect responses and accept payments all at the same time, offering their customers a convenient way to make a credit card payment, be it a contribution to a charitable cause, or for participation in an event.
“SurveyMonkey is always listening to the people who matter most—our customers—while considering new ways of empowering them and meeting their survey needs,” said Lars Wensel, Head of Strategic Partnerships, SurveyMonkey. “Our customers were looking for a way to collect payments within their surveys in order to simplify their workflow, and we’re excited to partner with Stripe, a leading global payments platform, to facilitate a seamless payments experience within our surveys.”
The Stripe integration is available today and includes a number of new key features:
"It should be easy to pay for anything online, whether that's a subscription fee on a website, a pair of shoes with an app, or, now, a purchase within a survey," says Vicki Lin, Head of Ecosystem at Stripe. "SurveyMonkey has already streamlined online surveys for individuals and organizations globally, and we're thrilled to partner with them today to make it possible for their customers to easily and securely accept payments from within SurveyMonkey surveys."
SurveyMonkey’s deliberate focus on partnerships with developers and growing an ecosystem of integrations with our survey platform allows customers to really benefit from People Powered Data: collaborate on surveys as a team, get to the ‘why’ behind the numbers, and marry survey insights with other existing data for deeper insights. SurveyMonkey offers pre-built integrations, data portability and single sign-on identity with applications, such as those offered by Salesforce, Marketo, Oracle, Microsoft, Google and Slack, as well as open APIs and configurable integrations. Approximately 17,000 apps have been created using SurveyMonkey’s APIs, including applications in sales and marketing, productivity and collaboration, social and communications and analytics. The new integration with Stripe follows a series of other notable SurveyMonkey partnerships over the last year, including most recently Facebook Workplace, Microsoft Teams and Slack for collaborating on surveys.
