New polling from Fortune and SurveyMonkey indicates strong spending among businesses when compared with a year ago.

Business purchasing is up YOY. Nearly half (49%) of workers with authority to make inventory purchasing decisions say their budget has increased year-over-year. Just 11% say their budget has decreased over the last year, while 34% say it has held steady.
