SurveyMonkey names Lance Ludman as Chief Financial Officer
The seasoned finance leader will drive financial strategy for the world’s most popular platform for surveys and forms
SAN MATEO, Calif., December 16, 2025 – SurveyMonkey, the world’s most popular platform for surveys and forms, today announced Lance Ludman is joining its leadership team as chief financial officer. In this role, Ludman will oversee all aspects of the company’s finance function, including financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, tax, and treasury.
Ludman is a seasoned finance executive with deep expertise in scaling technology and software companies. He most recently served as CFO at Benevity, the leading provider of corporate purpose software. Prior to that role, he was CFO for DreamBox Learning. Ludman also held leadership roles at Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).

Previously, Lance was CFO at Benevity, the leading provider of corporate purpose software. Prior to that, he was CFO at DreamBox Learning, a private-equity backed K-12 education technology company. From 2010 to 2019, he served in multiple roles at Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB), including CFO for International. His early career included corporate development at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT). He holds an M.A. in International Economics from the George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Richmond.
