Lora joined SurveyMonkey in January 2017 and leads the company’s legal, equity, and compliance teams and initiatives. Prior to SurveyMonkey, she served as Vice President, Legal-Corporate at LinkedIn Corporation, where she managed corporate securities, governance, M&A, and international subsidiary matters for the legal team. She led the internal teams on the company’s IPO, follow-on equity and debt offerings, all of its mergers and acquisitions, and the company’s $26.2 billion sale to Microsoft Corporation in 2016. Prior to joining LinkedIn in 2010, Lora was in private practice for over 10 years, including serving as a partner in capital markets at Jones Day, and a shareholder at Heller Ehrman. Lora holds a JD from UCLA and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Senior Vice President, Product
Samantha is Senior Vice President of Product at SurveyMonkey, where she leads the Surveys, Wufoo, and Integrations product teams. She joined SurveyMonkey in 2013 to define, build, and launch SurveyMonkey’s Enterprise offering. Previously, Samantha spent 15 years in Product Management roles at technology companies including Facebook, Intuit, FanSnap, and Yahoo!, where she built and led teams that created innovative consumer and enterprise products. She also worked on the Corporate Development team at Autodesk, driving M&A integration and strategy initiatives. She holds BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, and she earned her MBA from the University of Oxford.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Linda is Senior Vice President, Sales at SurveyMonkey, where she leads the worldwide Surveys sales teams. Prior to joining SurveyMonkey in March of 2018, Linda spent two years at Adobe, where she led worldwide go-to-market for Creative Cloud consumer and SMB sales. Prior to that, she spent 14 years at eBay, holding numerous leadership positions in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance. She also held several Category and Regional GM roles in the US and UK. She started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, working in the Vancouver and London offices. She holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, is a Canadian CPA, and has a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.
Chief People Officer
Becky joined SurveyMonkey in September 2011 and drives its candidate and employee experience. Previously, she spent over 11 years at Yahoo! in various HR leadership roles. In her last role at Yahoo!, she was HR Partner for the Advertising Product Group and Search & Marketplaces organizations. Additionally, she served as HR Partner to the CMO and Sales/Marketing Organizations, spent 4 years on Mergers & Acquisitions, and held multiple roles in talent acquisition. Before Yahoo!, Becky was at Nordstrom for eight years in sales, Customer Service, and HR roles. Becky received a BA in Public Administration from San Diego State University and an MBA from San Francisco State University.
General Manager, Market Research
Priyanka (Pri) Carr joined SurveyMonkey in November 2014. As GM of Market Research, Pri is focused on creating leading-edge software and delivering high-quality data, empowering businesses to answer their most pressing questions with speed, agility, and accuracy. She is also an executive sponsor of SurveyMonkey’s Diversity and Inclusion efforts. She previously led the company’s Strategy, Corporate Development, and Partnerships function, which managed corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, monetization and pricing, business operations, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining SurveyMonkey, Pri led teams at Bain & Company in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunication and Private Equity practices, focusing on delivering customer value, improving operating efficiency, and finding inorganic growth opportunities for technology companies. Pri is a researcher by training, with a PhD in psychological science from Stanford University and several publications on motivation, decision making, and interpersonal dynamics.
Chief Financial Officer
Debbie joined SurveyMonkey in July 2019 and oversees all aspects of finance including financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations, in addition to strategy and corporate development. Prior to SurveyMonkey, she spent over 13 years at Autodesk where most recently she served as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and was a lead architect of Autodesk’s financial transformation from selling perpetual licenses to becoming a SaaS provider. Prior to Autodesk, she held positions at Virage, Inc. and Ernst & Young. Debbie also serves on the board of Harmonic, a video technology and services company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Chief Research Officer
Jon joined SurveyMonkey in January 2014. He brings years of research and data expertise to the company’s portfolio of products and solutions, as well as strategic direction for future innovations. Previously, he was Vice President of Research at the Pew Research Center. As Director of Polling and Polling Editor, he also led The Washington Post’s polling operation through two presidential campaigns and four congressional cycles, as well as numerous gubernatorial and mayoral elections. Prior to the Post, he was a polling expert at ABC News and the Public Policy Institute of California. He is an active member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and previously served on AAPOR’s Executive Council, as well as the president of its Pacific Chapter, PAPOR. Jon earned an MA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in History from Johns Hopkins University.
Chief Technology Officer
Robin joined SurveyMonkey in October 2017. She leads the company’s engineering function and works closely with product, design, and data teams to help define our technical product vision. Previously, Robin spent five years as Senior Vice President of Product Engineering at DocuSign where she scaled the engineering team into a high-velocity streamlined organization using scaled agile framework, moved the product to a multi-product platform with a service-oriented architecture, and shifted the organization to a continuous integration delivery model. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Engineering at Eventbrite responsible for delivery of their platform and building out a complete engineering organization with extremely high staffing standards. Robin earned her BS in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Chief Customer Officer
Ken joined SurveyMonkey in 2020 and leads the company’s customer operations, customer success, professional services, and CX program, leveraging his 20 years of experience as a leader at some of the largest and most notable firms in the country—from IBM to AT&T. He previously served as vice president of customer success and analytics solutions at Neustar, a leader in marketing analytics and customer identity management solutions. Prior to that, he was SVP of worldwide professional services at Aspect Software, where his responsibilities included all of Aspect’s global professional services processes, people, execution, and knowledge management. Under his tenure, Aspect was recognized by SPI research as one of the 2016 “Best of the Best Professional Services Organizations” based on performance and improvement relative to key industry performance measures. Ken has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in Computer Science from Hampton University.
Tom joined SurveyMonkey in July 2016 and oversees engineering, infrastructure, product, product marketing, user experience and growth, including international expansion. Before SurveyMonkey, he spent six years at HomeAway, first as Chief Product Officer, then as Chief Operating Officer, leading the company through IPO and acquisition by Expedia. Tom also served as Linden Lab’s Chief Product Officer where he redesigned the consumer experience of Second Life. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Macromedia and Adobe in various executive roles in general management, product management, and marketing. Tom sits on the board of Cars.com and holds an AB from Harvard University.
Chief Information Officer
Eric joined SurveyMonkey in July 2019 and oversees the company’s information technology vision and IT roadmap, and drives priorities including security, data infrastructure, business intelligence, and enterprise tools that drive company scale and increase efficiency. Previously, he served as CIO and senior vice president at both DocuSign and Talend. Prior to these positions, Eric spent nearly 13 years at Informatica driving the vision and strategy for global off-shore support and delivery, and architecting the support required for the company’s migration to a SaaS platform. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Eric sits on the board of Larkin Street Youth Services.
Chief Executive Officer
Zander is CEO of SurveyMonkey and serves on its board of directors, which he has been a part of since 2009. Previously, Zander was Senior Vice President of Entertainment at GoPro; he has served on the company’s board of directors since 2016. Prior to GoPro, Zander was SVP of Strategic Development at CBS Corporation, via its acquisition of CNET Networks, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development. Zander began his career in the technology investment banking group at JPMorgan, leading equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions in the Internet sector. He holds a JD and an MBA from Emory University, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington. Zander co-founded the California-based nonprofit organization CoachArt, which serves chronically ill children and their siblings.
General Manager, Surveys
Ross joined the company in August 2011 and served as Chief Product Officer until 2020. As GM of our Surveys business, Ross is focused on ensuring that organizations of all sizes can make better decisions by leveraging feedback from the voices that matter most. He leads our efforts to extend the capabilities and reach of our robust survey platform that has been defining the category for more than twenty years. Prior to SurveyMonkey, he spent four years leading Product and Operational teams within the Android and Chrome businesses at Google. Earlier in his career, Ross worked in a variety of strategy and user experience roles at companies including Brunswick Corporation, Human Factors International, and Telcordia Technologies. Ross holds a BS degree in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Chief Sales Officer
John joined SurveyMonkey in September 2017 and oversees the company’s global sales organization. Previously, he spent two years at Adobe where he was responsible for driving digital media sales across all customer segments: consumer, SMB, and enterprise. Prior to that, he was General Manager of Global Sales and Business Development for Amazon Marketplace and spent ten years with Oracle as Vice President of Applications Sales and Professional Services for Latin America, based out of Santiago, Chile. John also served as a member of the Oracle LATAM Executive Committee. John holds a BA degree in English and History from Notre Dame de Namur University.
General Manager, Customer Experience
Craig joined the SurveyMonkey team through the 2019 acquisition of GetFeedback, where he served as CEO. He previously served as the chief operating officer of Campaign Monitor and the senior vice president for pricing and operations at Salesforce. Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and master’s degree in business and supply chain management from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Chief Marketing Officer
Leela joined SurveyMonkey in April 2018 and leads all marketing functions including brand strategy, growth marketing, product marketing, and communications. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Lever where she was responsible for all aspects of marketing and partnered with the People team on employer branding initiatives. Prior to that, Leela served as VP of marketing at OpenTable, where she built product marketing from scratch and established the foundations of a B2B marketing team. Additionally, Leela was director of marketing at LinkedIn within the Talent Solutions business, where she co-founded the Talent Connect conference. She also spent three years in management consulting at Bain & Company, and five years in sales. Leela also serves on the board of UpWork, a global freelancing website. She earned her MBA in general management from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and her MA in history and English literature from the University of Edinburgh in her native Scotland.
