This course delivers the skills and knowledge required to conduct individual and group instruction, demonstrate work skills, and assess the success of training and one’s own training performance, using role play, existing learning resources, case studies and workplace examples in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

It emphasises the training as being driven by the work process and context, and applies to a person working under supervision, assisting with trainees as a work skill instructor in a wide range of settings relevant to the Thoroughbred industry workplace.

Additional training and career progression courses include: Leadership and Management Skillset Courses, Certificate IV Horse Breeding credit transfers and recognised prior learning.

ELIGIBILITY
Suited to people working under supervision, preparing to take on further responsibility or will be supervising small teams and/or trainees. Applications will be assessed by NSW Thoroughbred Industry representatives and Training Services NSW for approval for fee free training.
