Introduction

The purpose of this survey is to understand our readiness and support needs across the partnership to deliver the national Families First reforms. Families First aims to support safeguarding partners to develop:
  • Family Help, providing the right help at the right time
  • Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams
  • Family Group Decision Making
  • Strengthening the role of education

City of York Safeguarding Children Partnership has oversight of the reforms and aims to ensure partners are consulted and co-produce implementation. Findings from this survey will be shared with the strategic leaders of the partnership and workforce subgroup to identify themes, trends and opportunities. Partners will share a summary of the results in the Families First newsletter.
