The General Assembly will take place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates on September 18, 2025.
What is a General Assembly?
The General Assembly is a meeting of the full members of Inclusion International.

It is the highest decision making body at Inclusion International.

The General Assembly meets at least once every two years to make important decisions for our network - like electing our leaders, or deciding who can become a new member.

Sometimes there might also be an Extraordinary General Assembly called - these are extra meetings where the members come together to talk about an important issue for our network.
When is the 2025 General Assembly happening?
The President of Inclusion International has called an Extraordinary General Assembly in 2025.

It will take place in person in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

This Extraordinary General Assembly will be on Thursday, September 18th, 2025. This is the day after the World Congress finishes.

The Extraordinary General Assembly will be a half day - it will run from 9am GST (UAE time) until 1pm.

For members who will not be in the United Arab Emirates, there will also be an option to attend online on Zoom.
Who can attend the General Assembly?
The General Assembly is a gathering of the full members of Inclusion International, but other members can also attend.

Full members can send up to three representatives to the General Assembly.

Affiliate members can send up to two representatives to the General Assembly.

Individual members are also able to attend the General Assembly.

Note that affiliate members and individual members cannot vote at the General Assembly - only full members in good standing are able to vote.

People who are not members of Inclusion International cannot attend.

Is your organisation planning on proposing a resolution for the members to vote on during the General Assembly?

A "resolution" is a statement that the members vote on telling Inclusion International to do something.

Knowing in advance that you plan to bring a resolution helps the General Assembly Planning Committee manage the time in the session.
