The experiences and concerns of Washington’s rural teachers and students are more complex and nuanced than any news headline or social media post can capture. At the same time, there are shared struggles as well as opportunities to support the work of teaching artists in rural districts.

Join us in a conversation about teaching the arts in rural areas of our state. What can we learn from the voices and stories of rural teaching artists? How can we support each other? All are welcome!
