Stephen H. Schulman Millennium Fund Youth Scholarship Application 2022-2023
Purpose
The Stephen H. Schulman Millennium Fund was created in 2001 with the mission to engage Jewish youth, help them connect with each other and the Jewish community, and cultivate within them a Jewish identity and sense of communal responsibility. The Schulman fund generously provides scholarship dollars to help more Jewish tweens and teens participate in Jewish experiences by aiding in the financial cost that can deter families.
Criteria
Youth must reside in the Metropolitan Detroit area.
Youth must be in grades 6-12.
The program must be domestic (U.S. or Canada).
Programs must be specific to a tween/teen audience.
Guidelines
Applications must be submitted one month prior to the program. Applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis, with awards being dispersed at the beginning of the next month.
For the 2022-2023 programming year, a maximum of $400 in scholarship can be received per tween/teen.
All scholarship requests must be submitted online with all fields completed. Incomplete scholarship applications will not be accepted.
Approved scholarships will be reimbursed from the Stephen H. Schulman Millennium Fund for Jewish Youth and will be mailed to the regional youth group/organization office (not to individuals).
