Consultation Purpose: The States of Alderney have recently commissioned an independent review of the remuneration payable to elected members of the States of Alderney which includes The President of The States of Alderney. The purpose of the consultation and report is to review the current basis of remuneration for the President of the States of Alderney, assess whether that basis is still appropriate and relevant and determine whether the current levels fairly and properly reflect the nature of the role. The report will make recommendations as to the level of remuneration going forward.
