2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Update

The Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (CORE MPO) is developing the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MTP is a blueprint for creating a transportation system that meets mobility needs in Chatham, Bryan, and Effingham counties over the next 20+ years. It reflects the community's long term vision, establishes goals, and identifies strategies that are consistent with the priorities of the three-county Savannah metropolitan region.

This survey is a chance to show your thoughts on transportation in the region. It should take about 10 minutes to complete, and responses will remain anonymous. The survey is split into sections, covering roadways, bicycling, pedestrians, public transportation, equity, and resiliency. We've included a few demographic questions at the end of the survey that will be used by CORE MPO staff to ensure that we are reaching a representative sample of the community.

If you have questions about the survey or need additional assistance, CORE MPO staff are available to help by phone at 912-651-1456 or email at herntona@thempc.org.

Thank you for being a part of the process to create a transportation system that is safe, efficient, sustainable, reliable, and equitable for everyone in the region.
