Survey Purpose: To gather information from Maricopa City residents to support legal actions that are being levied against Global Water Resources on behalf of those who have been negatively impacted by the E. coli outbreak in our city tap water system in August, 2025.
Target Audience: The City of Maricopa residents who have personally experienced E. coli bacterial infection symptoms between August 15, 2025 and September 20, 2025. (Note: The onset of E. coli infection symptoms may not surface for days, or possibly even weeks, after initial exposure.)
Survey Distribution: Social media will be the primary method of distribution with the potential of reaching over 40K individuals in the community.
Survey Duration: 3 weeks
Survey Information Security: All personally identifiable information (PII) will be held in strict confidence and the data will be secured via encryption and password enabled access. All copies of the data collected from this survey will be electronically shredded when it is no longer needed.
