Richmond IWW Organizer Training 101

The IWW’s Organizer Training (OT) 101 provides 2 full days of training that gives participants all of the knowledge and skills they need to start building a union practically anywhere! OT101 includes some teaching from experienced organizers and trainers, practical 1 on 1 practices, large group break-out activities, and overall a bunch of fun and camaraderie with your fellow trainees and strong bonds with other working-class people in your area, but most of all, a lot of fun!

The Richmond IWW is hosting an Organizer Training 101 in Richmond, VA on August 4th and 5th! The training will take place at the HI Richmond Hostel at 7 N. 2nd St. Richmond, VA 23219. The training sessions will be from 9am - 5pm, lunch, coffee and snacks will be provided! Please email us if you have any other questions before registering (RichmondIWW@protonmail.com)

Please fill this out to register to attend the OT 101 Training, the deadline to register is 7/25/18 to ensure appropriate accommodations, a large enough space for the training, and that we have enough food. A $25 suggested donation will be collected for each attendee for food and materials, but no one will be refused for inability to pay. If you need assistance with this donation please indicate so below and an organizer will reach out to you. Attendance on both days is required so if you cannot commit to attending both days, please sit this one out and wait for the next one!

Please note, space is limited for this training session. As such, once we have reached our capacity all subsequent registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
