
2025 SITE Foundation Chapter Grant Application |
The SITE Foundation is pleased to support SITE Chapters with funding that allows them to continue to fulfill their mission. This grant is intended to support membership growth, quality education, event funding and programming. Supporting professional development within the industry is a key component of the SITE Foundation's Mission.
Chapter grants are intended to create or enhance chapter activities that would not otherwise be possible without additional financial assistance. It is not intended to support chapter activities that already have sufficient funding. Activities should benefit the entire chapter membership.
Funding is limited and is awarded based on chapter need. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The maximum amount available to a chapter is $5,000 USD on a calendar year basis.
Grant amounts will be based on financial documentation (e.g., bank statements, invoices, cost estimates) provided with grant application.
Timeline
- Application must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to chapter activity date.
- The chapter will be notified within 14 days of submission. Funds will be awarded up to 14 days after application approval.
Requirements
- Chapter will recognize the SITE Foundation in all pre-event promotion with the "Powered by the SITE Foundation" logo.
- During the event, the chapter will:
- Incorporate messaging that the event was supported by the SITE Foundation as well as integrate prepared Powerpoint slides describing the mission, vision, and initiatives of the SITE Foundation.
- Take photos and videos of the event that can be used by the Foundation and secure any necessary permissions from the participants.
- Activity must benefit the entire chapter membership, eligible categories include: membership campaign, chapter event, or educational activity. The activity must support the SITE Foundation's Vision.
- Complete a post-event summary within 4 weeks after the activity
- Include photos and videos in the post-event summary or email those to Dani Kloap. These will be shared with the SITE Foundation and will help amplify the reach of your chapter!
Tips for completing this application:
- Provide clear measurements of success (e.g., gain 10 new members from campaign, acquire 150 event registrants by increased marketing for event).
- Provide details about your event, high level/generic descriptions may delay your application's processing time.
- Demonstrate need: New for 2025, these grants will be awarded on a needs-basis. Chapters should demonstrate need through financial reports submitted to SITE HQ, a detailed narrative submitted with the application, and any invoices or estimates detailing costs the requested grant would cover.
