Families - we need your feedback to continue to provide high-quality services for all participants in early learning programs! This survey will be used to gain information on what is working well and where enhancements can be made by licensed Child Care (home and centre based) and EarlyON Centres.  The City of Peterborough and Investing In Quality (IIQ) are working together to administer this survey and questions are focused on program quality and the four foundations (Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, Expression), found in Ontario’s early years pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen?”

The survey is voluntary. You can choose not to take part in this survey or to skip any question you would rather not answer. As a thank you for your participation, you will be given the option to enter a draw for a $25 grocery gift card. There are twenty gift cards to be won.

The survey is anonymous. Your name or your child(ren)’s name(s) will never be connected with your data or comments, and your Child Care Program, EarlyON Centre, early years educators and/or program staff will not see your individual answers. Your name and email will only be used for the purpose of the draw, if you choose to provide it.

Please complete one family survey per type of program (e.g., If your family attends both a licensed Child Care Centre or licensed home child care and an EarlyON Centre, please fill out two separate surveys).

If you have any questions or need assistance, please speak with an educator at your program or your home child care provider.

Please note, that the term “educator” is used throughout this survey. This term is meant to be inclusive of everyone who works at the program location, including supervisors, managers, directors, program staff, dietary staff, administration staff, and home child care providers.

The survey closes on Friday, June 3rd, 2022.
