About Us
The Beaver Hills was designated as a biosphere on March 19, 2016 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The Beaver Hills Biosphere is an important and distinct geographic area in which people work together to contribute to the environmental, social, economic and cultural well being of the region. From parks and trails, to recreation areas, historic and cultural sites and wilderness retreats, the Beaver Hills has so much to offer.

About This Project
The Beaver Hills Biosphere is committed to offering meaningful learning opportunities for students and teachers. We are creating a plan for the future of education in the biosphere, but we can’t do it alone. The thoughts and ideas that you share through this survey will directly impact the way that young people engage with the incredible stories of Alberta’s newest Biosphere region, the Beaver Hills Biosphere. Thank you for participating and contributing to these efforts.
Tell us about your familiarity with the Beaver Hills Biosphere.
