Nominated Artists Information / Información de artistas nominados
All form submissions must be complete by October 30, 2025 to be considered.
Thank you for your interest in Mid Atlantic Arts' Performing Arts Global Exchange program. By submitting this form, artists that meet the requirements below will be considered for selection to the Performing Arts Global Exchange roster for the 2026-2027 season.
This form is not a grant application, and selection to the Performing Arts Global Exchange roster does not constitute a grant award from Mid Atlantic Arts. Artists selected to the roster will work with a tour agent (engaged by the artist) and Mid Atlantic Arts staff to determine subsidy awards made directly to presenters in the U.S. for presentation of the roster artist during the project period.
Artists selected for the roster are supported indirectly by grant funds from Mid Atlantic Arts. Eligible non-profit venues that book artists from the confirmed roster for a public performance and a community engagement activity can receive a grant of up to 50% of the artist fee until support allocated to the tour runs out. The grant supports engagements that take place between July 1, 2026 and December 31, 2027.
Artists must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the 2026-2027 Performing Arts Global Exchange roster:
Be a professional performing artist/ensemble working in dance, music, puppetry, circus, or theater;
Be current residents of Spain or Portugal; if a group/ensemble the lead artist must not be a US citizen and must be based in and reside within Spain or Portugal, and the group must be made up of a majority of non-US citizens who are not US-based.
Be ready to tour a complete, in-person performance, work, or concert of no less than 50 minutes and availability in their schedule to tour the US sometime between July 1, 2026-December 31, 2027 (the project period);
Be committed to doing meaningful community engagement work alongside their performance through masterclasses, workshops, panel discussions, etc.
Have a Tour Agent familiar with the US market to work with during your tenure as a Performing Arts Global Exchange Roster Artist if selected
In addition, this program seeks to support artists/ensembles that do not have a long track record of touring in the US.
Please note that artists/companies who have been included on the Performing Arts Global Exchange or Iber Exchange or Mid Atlantic Tours roster will not be considered for this program.
WHO SHOULD COMPLETE THIS FORM

The manager/agent of an artist meeting all criteria above
Information submitted in this form (about artists selected to move forward in the process) will be compiled and put into a publicly available survey which will be sent to presenting organizations in the US. By submitting this form you provide your consent for the use of information you submit here in the survey shared with presenters.
