Continuing professional development (CPD) for Queensland property professionals began on 6 June 2025.
CPD is designed to enhance your skills, knowledge, and professionalism, ensuring you stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. It’s also an important step in building trust with your clients and improving the reputation of the property industry.
Under the new rules, you must complete two approved CPD sessions each CPD year to keep your licence or registration, regardless of your, job, position, or role. This applies to:
- real estate agents
- real estate salespersons (including property managers)
- real property auctioneers
- resident letting agents.
If you do not complete your CPD requirements, you may not be eligible to renew your licence or registration.
These CPD requirements are separate from any training courses you may have completed when applying for your licence or registration.
About this surveyThis voluntary survey is for real estate professionals who currently hold a property licence or registration in Queensland.
The aim of the survey is to gather insights into the awareness of CPD and understand your preferences for future messaging. Your responses are anonymous and will not be linked to your identity, licence, or registration.
