Several transportation network scenarios will be developed for consideration in the 2019 Regional Plan to help serve current and future transportation needs in the San Diego region. To evaluate how these combinations of projects will help people to get to work and school, improve the region’s air quality, and help our local economy, SANDAG staff will update the network performance measures. Performance measures from the Regional Plan adopted in 2015 were used as a starting point and changes have been proposed to better align the network performance measures with those included in federal legislation and obtained through feedback from the public, SANDAG working groups, policy advisory committees, and the SANDAG Board of Directors.

Your input is important as we refine the performance measures for the 2019 Regional Plan. As we consider what infrastructure to build and transportation programs to invest in through 2050, we want to hear what is important to you. Should we put emphasis on the economy? The environment? Public health? Social equity? Other areas? Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable input.
