9. DATES World of Bluegrass week has been hosted in early fall (September/October), the peak season for business planning for the coming year. However, that is also the peak season for convention facilities and hotels, bringing higher costs. Also, this timing may conflict with other conferences, festivals and sometimes with Jewish holidays. If some aspect of WOB like Fan Fest were moved outdoors, the fall is typically the best weather with the least chance of rain. How would WOB being at a different time period affect your decision to attend?
