Rowing has a long and proud history of being a sport for all.  2020 is the 100th anniversary of  the men's and women's events being rowed together at the interstate regatta.  We want to celebrate this long and proud history.

Rowing Australia, is commemorating this important milestone next year at the National Championships in March.

We are seeking stories from the community about women's rowing. We want to hear from those of you who have been or still are connected with rowing, regardless of the role you play(ed).

Whether you are or were a coach, official, administrator or perhaps a parent. Whether you are or were a masters rower, school rower, rowed for your club or state, or for Australia, we want to hear from you. We want to know about what rowing has meant to you, who are the champions of the women's rowing movement in your eyes and all the stories in between.

Your stories will constitute an important part of the history to be published to celebrate and commemorate the centenary. They may also be used as part of the celebratory campaign that will happen before and at the Nationals, and form a lasting record of women’s rowing in Australia.

Whilst we have access to a lot of the competition data, our records do not reflect the depth of human stories we know are out there. And importantly, we know both men and women in the sport will have these stories to share, so we want to hear from everyone.

We invite you to take part in this short survey and help us tell the story of women's rowing in Australia.

NB: There is no word limit on responses so please tell us as much as you would like and we want your pictures and memories.  Make sure you fill out question 20!
