The County of Wetaskiwin is developing a Sanitary System Master Plan (SSMP). Sanitary Systems are networks of underground pipes, pumps, and treatment facilities that safely collect and processes wastewater from homes and businesses. Wetaskiwin County maintains a varied system of wastewater infrastructure that services communities throughout the county, and adjacent Summer Villages (SV).

The development of this SSMP will help ensure our local wastewater infrastructure remains safe, reliable, and environmentally sound for years to come. The plan will guide long-term investments and support infrastructure renewal across our hamlets, SVs, and rural areas.

This 11-question survey was created as one of several ways for county residents to provide feedback on their satisfaction with the County’s sanitary system and their perceptions on growth and responsible development.

This survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
