We’ll evaluate your location for planting and if it’s eligible, we’ll deliver and plant a tree for you this fall. We expect this form to take about 5 minutes to complete. About the program
The West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project, a resident-led environmental justice nonprofit in West Oakland, is bringing this opportunity to the community. Hyphae Design Lab, a local engineering firm, is providing technical expertise. The City of Oakland is digging new tree wells to accommodate planting, and Oakland Park & Recreation Foundation and a team of volunteers are planting the trees. This work is funded by a Sustainable Transportation Equity Program (STEP) grant, funded by the California Air Resources Board.
