The Weatherization Excellence Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates outstanding performance, exceptional skill, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality Weatherization services that improve home safety, energy efficiency, and client well-being. This award celebrates excellence across the technical, operational, and human-centered dimensions of Weatherization.

Nominees must:
  • Have served as a Weatherization professional for at least 5 years
  • Demonstrate alignment with the agency’s mission and Weatherization program standards

Core Award Criteria
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
  1. Technical Mastery & Skill Development: Shows strong technical skills through quality assessments, relevant training, and effective use of Weatherization tools and equipment.
  2. Compliance, Quality & Safety Standards: Meets monitoring and documentation requirements, adheres to Weatherization guidelines, and models strong safety practices that ensure homes meet all Health & Safety standards.
  3. Customer Service & Client Engagement: Delivers clear and compassionate communication, meets client needs professionally, and ensures a positive experience throughout the process.
  4. Innovative Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrates creativity and efficiency in solving challenges, improving processes, and maintaining strong performance in changing conditions.
  5. Leadership, Coordination & Team Collaboration: Exhibits strong leadership, coordination, and teamwork in supporting a high-performing crew.
