The City of Trotwood is currently working with a zoning consultant to assess the need for changes to the existing Trotwood Planning and Zoning Code, and we are seeking input on how the residents and business owners would like those regulations revised to address ongoing needs and concerns. We are asking that the public take a few minutes of their time to help identify any significant issues or concerns they may have regarding the current regulations.

Question Title

Question Title

Question Title

For smaller homes in the city, this may mean that you can only have 350-500 square feet of accessory building, which is smaller than a typical two-car garage. Which option do you think the city should consider out of the options below:

Question Title

* 5. During the development of the Trotwood Together Comprehensive Plan, there were discussions that allowing Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) may be appropriate in the city. ADUs are small attached or detached dwelling units that are associated with a single-family home. These are sometimes referred to as granny flats, secondary dwellings, or in-law suites. Please tell us how appropriate you think ADUs are for Trotwood on scale (slider) of 0 to 10.
