Welcome, and thank you for making time to take this survey!

This survey aims to increase our understanding of the higher education sustainability career field and related professions. The survey includes questions on salary, scope of work, engagement, supervision, and position structure, and captures impacts and outcomes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. AASHE will once again publish a follow-up report outlining survey results.
 
To qualify, you must be in a PAID higher education sustainability position anywhere in the world, with at least 25 percent of your work dedicated to sustainability.
 
The survey has approximately 50 questions and should take about 30 minutes to complete. We encourage broad participation. Please take this survey and forward it to your sustainability colleagues! 


PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION READY:
  • 2022 salary information, as presented on W2 or related tax documents, reported in U.S. dollars.
  • The full-time equivalency (FTE) of staff that you supervise
  • The size of budgets you control, reported in U.S. dollars.
  • Designation of a single, main point-person (one per institution). 
 
Results will be reported only in aggregate and identifiable responses will not be shared. A redacted version of the survey data will be made available, but individual responses will not be identifiable.
