The Special Areas Board is committed to listening and making decisions that reflect what residents value. That’s why we’re inviting you to take part in the 2026 Resident Satisfaction Survey.

Last year, residents shared valuable insights about life in the Special Areas: 83% rated quality of life as high or very high, and 78% were satisfied with municipal services. People appreciated Fire & Emergency Services and Water Services, while expressing concerns about roads, waste management, and governance. Many also want more say in local decisions — 70% said they want a stronger voice.
