Background Information
This survey is estimated to take 10 minutes to complete.
The City of Otsego is planning improvements for Prairie Park as part of Phase 1 of the Prairie Park Master Plan. The master plan was developed in 2023 and adopted by City Council in 2024 to guide improvements to the park over the next 20+ years.
Phase 1 of the master plan includes:
- A destination playground
- Ballfield improvements
- A pavilion with restrooms, concessions, and an open-air shelter
- A new/relocated veterans memorial
- Trail and accessibility upgrades
- Expanded and improved parking
The image below illustrates the overall vision for the park; however, the exact layout and details are still being developed, as the project is currently in the early stages of design.
This survey will remain open through June 8th, 2026. Feedback will be shared with the Park Commission and City Council in June, and will help inform the design. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027.
