Thank you for your continued participation in planning Post Oak Ridge State Park, a new 3,000+ acre Texas State Park along the Colorado River in Burnet and Lampasas counties. This new park represents a unique opportunity to protect native landscapes, including river corridors, rolling terrain, and open space, while providing public access and supporting outdoor recreation for current and future generations.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is advancing the Public Use Plan by building on earlier community input to refine concept approaches for the park. The materials presented here reflect those concepts and respond to the priorities identified through previous engagement. The plan focuses on creating meaningful and sustainable opportunities for visitors to experience the park while aligning with the site’s natural conditions and the long-term vision for Post Oak Ridge State Park.
Before completing this questionnaire, please review the presentation on this page for an overview of the planning approach. Your feedback will help evaluate how well this approach aligns with community priorities and inform the final phase of planning.
The following questions ask you to evaluate how well the proposed plan reflects the priorities identified through previous community input.
