Survey of beef & sheep farmer business intentions in Wales, 2025

Inflation and high farm input costs continue to significantly challenge the agricultural sector, impacting profitability and complicating decision-making for Welsh farmers. To better understand these issues, Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) surveyed Welsh farming businesses in September 2022, 2023, and 2024.

HCC now invites farmers across Wales to participate in a fourth survey to assess current challenges and future business plans, helping to guide future discussions.
