New York State Mental Health Workforce Initiative: Survey

Help Us Build a Stronger Mental Health Workforce
As part of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH)’s investment in the public mental health system, we are developing a new workforce website that will connect job seekers to providers across the state and inspire the next generation of mental health professionals.

OMH has contracted with Brandemix, a workforce marketing and website development firm, to create the new workforce website. The site will feature:
  • Clear pathways to licensed and unlicensed careers in mental health
  • Insight into programs, professions, and work settings across New York
  • Videos and stories from real professionals in the field
  • A job search feature connecting candidates to opportunities by county and profession

The purpose of this survey is to determine what information will be most useful for the website and to gather your ideas for a future public mental health workforce marketing campaign.
