BOOKSELLERS ASSOCIATION – NATIONAL YEAR OF READING GRANT APPLICATION FORM

NATIONAL YEAR OF READING GRANTS FOR BOOKSELLERS

We are delighted to launch the Booksellers Association National Year of Reading grants programme, where BA member booksellers in the UK and Ireland can apply for amounts of between £250 and £500 for any project which supports the aims of the National Year of Reading: making reading social, personally meaningful and modern.

The Grants Programme is part of the BA Group’s support of booksellers during the National Year of Reading, which will see the Booksellers Association and National Book Tokens providing a range of consumer and trade-facing initiatives over the course of the year and beyond. Grants will be awarded to projects which make reading visible and accessible to new communities, above and beyond a bookshop’s existing programmes - this can be anything from running a pop-up in an underserved area, to holding an event in an unexpected place.
