Near-surface Geophysics Community Input Survey

Near-surface geophysics methods can be used for a wide variety of applications ranging from hazards and groundwater to archaeology and engineering.

The newly funded U.S. NSF National Geophysical Facility (NGF) will be expanding support for near-surface geophysics and we are seeking input on what will best serve community needs. This builds on earlier work (e.g., 2022 AGU-facilitated report) with an aim to inform facility-level planning.
