Dear Participant,
Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting women across Europe, and a diagnosis can bring significant emotional, physical, and practical challenges. While advances in personalised medicine — including genomic testing — are helping to guide treatment decisions, it is essential to understand how these tools are experienced from the patient perspective.
This survey is conducted through a collaboration between
Cancer Patients Europe (CPE) and
Exact Sciences, now ABBOTT, in partnership with
Brystkræftforeningen (Denmark),
Rintasyöpäyhdistys - Europa Donna Finland (Finland), and
Nätverket mot cancer (Sweden), and is overseen by a Scientific Committee composed of local patient organization representatives and health care professionals. It aims to better understand the real-life experiences of people affected by breast cancer in the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden). This is the second survey in the myC (my Cancer my Concern) initiative (for more information click
here). By sharing your experience as a
patient or caregiver, you will help us improve our understanding of the patient journey, identify information gaps, and ensure that genomic testing is integrated into care in a way that supports patient-centred decision-making.
The questions have been designed to be short and user-friendly. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
Please note that the survey does not require you to enter any personal data. Should you however provide any personal data in the open field questions, this data will be treated confidentially and will only be used within the framework of the survey. Your information will be adequately protected against access by third parties and processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
