More Than A Door: Creating pathways to independence for students who use mobility aids at The University of Winnipeg
About the Campaign
A door may just be a door to you but for a student who uses mobility aids, it is much more than that. From classrooms and labs to washrooms and common areas, accessible doors are pathways to independence that makes education accessible to students with disabilities.
The goal of this campaign is to assess the accessibility needs and limitations that students who use mobility aids face on campus. While working in collaboration with the University, we hope to increase the number of accessible doors on campus and make post-secondary education more accessible to students with disabilities.
Campus maps are available on the University of Winnipeg website. If you need a more detailed umap of the campus to complete the survey, please email email@example.com.
