Local 002 Spring 2026 Worksite Survey |
Introduction
AUPE Local 002 – Workplace Practices & Employee Experience
Your voice helps shape the employee experience.
AUPE Local 002 is committed to understanding the real experiences of Administrative and Program Services employees across the Alberta Public Service. This Spring 2026 survey builds on insights gathered in Winter 2026 and complements the Workplace Practices & Employee Experience FAQ, (available here) which was developed to help clarify common questions related to expectations, flexibility, workload, and employee supports.
The FAQ reflects current information available to Local 002 based on employee feedback, observed trends, and recent organizational developments, including changes affecting hybrid work arrangements. Your input helps ensure future updates to the FAQ — and Local 002 advocacy efforts — are grounded in the lived experiences of members.
Results from this survey will help Local 002:
- Identify emerging trends affecting employees
- Better understand how expectations are being applied in practice
- Strengthen advocacy on issues impacting members
- Update and refine the FAQ resource
- Improve communication, supports, and guidance
- Track changes over time to better understand employee experience
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Responses are anonymous and will be reported only in aggregate form. No individual responses will be shared with the employer.
We encourage you to answer based on your current experience. Both positive and constructive feedback are important to ensure an accurate understanding of employee perspectives.
Thank you for taking the time to contribute. Your feedback directly informs the resources, guidance, and advocacy priorities developed by Local 002.
Together, we can better understand today’s environment and help shape a stronger employee experience going forward.
In Solidarity,
Trevor Eliott
