Background
OX2 Holdings Pty Ltd (OX2) is developing a renewable energy project approximately 40 kilometres (km) southeast of Biloela and 45 km northeast of Monto in Queensland. The proposed Project would incorporate a wind farm with up to 50 wind turbines and a battery energy storage system (BESS). The Project is located across both the Banana Shire Council and North Burnett Regional Council local government areas.

Community survey
This community survey aims to help the SIA team to gain a better understanding of community values, and potential impacts, benefits, and perceptions about the proposed Kariboe Wind Farm and Battery Project. Your responses will help to inform the SIA as part of the Project’s Development Application and will also help to inform the Project’s broader and ongoing engagement processes.
The survey has 14 questions and will take around 5-10 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will be kept strictly confidential. Your information will not be shared with any third parties. Your responses will be combined with others and analysed in a way that does not reveal your identity.
This survey will close at 5pm on 31 Jan 2026.
