Dear Applicant,

The goal of the Jumpstart Workshops is to prepare faculty and staff at Hispanic Serving Institutions for submission of proposals to the September Competition of the  NSF HSI Initiative.

Admission priority will be given to applicants from 2 yr and 4 yr regional institutions without prior NSF support in the last 5 years; applicants who are preparing Track 2 proposals; faculty who are within 10 years of their first faculty appointment.

Applicants who are accepted to the workshop and who are traveling from over 50 miles from the workshop location will be eligible to apply for a limited number of travel award stipends ($200).

Contact the program manager Dr. Margie Vela  at hsistemhub@nmsu.edu with questions or concerns.

Warm regards,
