Nomination Form
We invite the membership to nominate individuals for the named lectures below. The ABN Medallist will be chosen annually by ABN Council; the Gordon Holmes and John Walton lecturers will be chosen by ABN Meetings committee.
We collect nominations throughout the year. Nominations received by Monday 3rd June 2024 will be considered for the 2025 Annual Meeting. Nominations received from Tuesday 4th June 2024 will be considered the subsequent year.
ABN Medallist: The ABN Medal is awarded annually to recognise outstanding contributions by UK neurologists to the science or practice of neurology AND/OR for contributions to the ABN. Candidates for the ABN Medallist must have been a member of the ABN for at least 5 years at the time of the award.
ABN John Walton Lecture: The John Walton lecture is delivered annually at the ABN Autumn Meeting by a speaker invited in recognition of their major contribution to British/International Neurology.
ABN Gordon Holmes Lecture: The Gordon Holmes lecture is delivered annually at the ABN Spring meeting by an overseas neurologist recognised for their major contribution to Neurology.
