Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for consideration at the FANA 2026 Sand & Surf Anesthesia Symposium, April 10-12, in Orlando, FL.

Generally, accepted abstract general session presenters will receive either a complimentary registration or a $350 honorarium and one-night hotel's accommodations (if applicable).
Here are some suggested topics to consider:
1. Regional Anesthesia Techniques and Workshops
Hands-on and advanced blocks, ultrasound-guided approaches, and practical skills with regionals are consistently requested.
2. Business of Anesthesia
Topics include independent practice setup, contracts, billing, financial/tax strategies (including 1099 work), and legal/ethical considerations.
3. Ultrasound in Anesthesia
Techniques for vascular access, nerve blocks, regional, epidural, and perioperative care, often in workshop formats.
4. OB (Obstetric) Anesthesia Updates and Practices
Practices, emerging drugs, case management, and best outcomes for obstetric patients.
5. Pharmacology and Physiology Reviews
Updates on new drugs, mechanisms, pathophysiology, and drug management in special populations.
6. Pain Management and Opioid-Free Analgesia
Advancements in pain clinics, multimodal and opioid-sparing techniques, ketamine, and chronic pain management.
7. Pediatric and Specialty Anesthesia
Challenges, safety, and strategies for pediatric cases, cardiac, neuro, and other specialty surgeries.
8. Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS)
Including gastric, cardiac, pulmonary, and general teaching for perioperative safety.
9. AI, Technology, and Innovation in Anesthesia
AI for preop assessment, telemedicine integration, new devices, and future trends in technology.
10. Leadership, Wellness, and Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI)
Mental health, wellness strategies, leadership development, diversity in CRNA, political advocacy, and organizational policy.
