Thank you for your interest in helping plan Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, one of Texas’s most beloved outdoor destinations. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) recently added more than 3,700 acres to the park, more than doubling its size. This expansion represents a unique opportunity to protect sensitive landscapes, ease visitor pressures, and thoughtfully broaden access to the park’s geological, ecological, and cultural resources.
TPWD is developing a Public Use Plan to guide how the expanded park will be designed, developed, and managed over time, balancing conservation with recreation and public access.
Your responses to this survey will help inform the Public Use Plan and shape the future of the park. A presentation from the January public meetings, which provides helpful background information and context on the site, will be available after January 31, 2026.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Your participation in this survey is voluntary, and your responses will remain confidential. All data will be reported in aggregate form only. No personally identifiable information will be collected or shared. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is committed to protecting your privacy and will use this information solely for the purposes of park planning and public engagement. Privacy Policy.
