One Health Underwater : The wellbeing of young people through diving |
The One Health Underwater project features scuba diving to promote mental health among young Europeans aged 18 to 29. Combining sport, environmental protection and social inclusion, it draws on physiological and sociological research to demonstrate the positive impact of diving on stress and anxiety. Ultimately, the project aims to raise awareness of the benefits of scuba diving and integrate this activity into public sports and health programmes, particularly for vulnerable young people.
