Have your say on the future of electrical work-based training and help make sure the transition of around 1,800 EarnLearn electrical learners reflects what industry needs from its next provider.
Currently electrical apprenticeships (work-based learning) are delivered by two training providers. One of these providers, EarnLearn, is going through changes because of the recent government vocational education and training reforms. This means that the learners for electrical that are currently with EarnLearn will move to a new provider, and this needs to happen by the end of 2027.
The views of industry will be important in making the decision about which provider the current 1,800 EarnLearn electrical learners move to. We want to make sure employers and industry groups understand the available options and get a chance to say what is most important in a future training provider.
This information will support the Industry Skills Boards (who are leading this process) to select the most appropriate provider to take over these learners. We acknowledge that you may receive this survey from more than one organisation.
Please note we only want one response per person. Please complete your details (name and organisation) in full for your submission to be counted. We need this information to make sure that the information we are getting is genuinely from people working in the industry. The survey is expected to take less than six minutes to complete. This survey will close on October 7th at 5 pm.
