Delivering for All

Welcome

The Rural Services Network is running this survey to understand the experiences and priorities of people living in rural communities across England. This comprehensive study explores key issues affecting rural areas including healthcare access, housing affordability, transport options, environmental priorities, digital connectivity, and planning decisions.

Your voice matters. Rural communities face unique challenges that are often overlooked in national policy discussions. By participating in this survey, you are helping to build a robust evidence base that will enable us to engage more effectively with Government Departments, MPs, and other policy makers to advocate for rural needs and secure better services for rural areas.

We want to hear from everyone - regardless of your age, background, or circumstances. The more diverse voices we capture, the stronger our case becomes for addressing rural issues. Your responses will contribute to research that directly influences policy decisions affecting your community and rural areas across the country.

This survey does not require you to give your name or contact details. Your response will be treated confidentially by us. We will not share or publish any individual responses. The information that you and others supply will be stored securely and will only be used to generate statistics and inform our policy work.
Completing the survey should take about 8-10 minutes. The survey covers several topic areas, and we understand if you are unable, or indeed unwilling, to give answers to some of the questions. Please complete those you can.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and help strengthen the voice of rural communities.
