What we are doing: The Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) invites you to participate in a survey that aims to understand adults’ knowledge of brain-healthy lifestyles, how such lifestyles may impact dementia risk, and how technology may support those lifestyles.

About us: CABHI is a unique collaboration of healthcare, science, industry, not-for-profit, and government partners, whose aim is to improve quality of life for the world’s aging population. Visit www.cabhi.com for more information.

This survey and its resulting report are a collaborative effort between CABHI and partner organizations: Alzheimer’s Society of the United Kingdom, the National Institute on Ageing, and the Toronto Dementia Research Alliance (TDRA).

Purpose of the Survey: By sharing your experiences and technology habits, you will help innovators, policymakers, charities, researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders to better understand knowledge of brain-healthy lifestyles and dementia risk, as well as how technology may be used to support brain-healthy lifestyles. Your feedback will help ensure that future technologies are designed to be useful, accessible, and supportive of brain health.

Participation in this survey:

  • To complete the survey, you must be 40 years of age or older, and you must live in either Canada or the United Kingdom.
  • The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
  • Participation in the survey is voluntary, and you may exit the survey at any time.

How your information will be protected: Responses will be kept confidential and used only by the study team to create a report on the survey findings. All data will be securely stored on a password-protected account and only accessible to authorized study staff. Your answers will be anonymous and combined with the responses of others. We may share the aggregated survey findings publicly to help guide future technologies, services, and policies that support aging and brain health.

Consent: By clicking “Continue”, you indicate your consent to participate in this survey. If you change your mind, simply close the survey and no data will be saved. By clicking “Submit” at the end of this survey, you will be confirming your agreement to include your data in our results.

Survey Completion: We ask that you complete this survey by April 30th, 2026.
