This competition celebrates and highlights the benefits of combining art and science and is open to young people aged 7-18 years old to draw or paint an animal, plant, or fungus.
This year the competition was open to drawings and paintings of young people’s favourite fungi, medicinal and aromatic plants, or any species recently listed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). This year's theme highlighted the importance of protecting these species, with the UK celebrating 50 years since it ratified CITES.
There are two categories in this public vote - age 12-14 and age 15-18.
The judges have shortlisted the entries, and now it’s your turn to help decide the winners! On the next two pages, you’ll rank the shortlisted entries for both categories in order of your preference.
The vote will close at midnight (UK time) on Wednesday 9 September.
