MCCA is excited to introduce our Attorney of the Year Award (formerly known as MCCA’s Rainmakers Award). Beginning this year, MCCA will recognize one outstanding attorney whose commitment to the profession and significant impact on their community exemplify true leadership in the legal industry.

MCCA will honor an attorney who has achieved remarkable success through their innovative, consistent business development strategies and client development skills. This attorney's achievements provide valuable insights and inspiration to lawyers at all stages of their careers.

The 2025 Attorney of the Year Award will be presented at MCCA’s 2025 Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference. MCCA will also profile and recognize the honoree on our website and social media throughout the year.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Past MCCA Rainmakers are eligible.
  • Selected honoree must be present in-person at the Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference to receive their award. The exact time will be provided to the honoree.
  • Nominated attorney must have a proven record of compiling a book of business exceeding $5 million annually over the past 3 years.
  • Nominated attorney must have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and service to the community.
  • Nominated attorney demonstrates a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Submission Process

Please complete the Attorney of the Year Nomination Application and submit all requested documents for full consideration. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed, and inaccurate information will void the nomination.

Deadline for Nominations: March 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET.
