Help Decide the Future of Aquatic Recreation in the City of Hopkinsville!
Based on information received from the last community survey and input from the city council, a concept has been drafted of an indoor pool / recreation building and an outdoor splash pad / aquatic area. We want input from the community to help us determine the best aquatic features for Hopkinsville!
The current planning concept includes an approximately 26,400-square-foot indoor pool/recreation building, a new outdoor splash pad/aquatic area, parking, pedestrian connections, landscaping, and improvements to the existing recreation site (Bluegrass Splash).
The September 2026 planning estimate is approximately $8.93 million.
These are simply concept designs and estimated figures. This survey is to help us determine if it is the right concept for Hopkinsville!
