Ana Montenegro Mini-Park Survey
Ana Montenegro Mini-Park Survey
The City of Baldwin Park acquired and was awarded funding to design and construct a new mini-park at a formerly vacant residential lot near the Santa Fe Dam. The proposed park will allow for implementation of the City’s existing Comprehensive Park Master Plan recommended connectivity to the adjacent San Gabriel Bike Trail (Class II&III) and less than a ¼ mile from the Emerald Necklace and Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area Bike Trail. In addition, this will be the first park since the City was incorporated in 1956.
The park will be named after Ana Montenegro, one of the first Latinas in California to be elected as the City Treasurer. Mrs. Ana Montenegro was a true trailblazer for both women and the community of Baldwin Park as she was a dedicated teacher and advocate of cultural programs, having made significant contributions to the City’s well-being and preservation of its history and culture. The City of Baldwin Park is seeking your input on the design. Please complete this survey.
