About AEVA

The Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) is a volunteer-run, not for profit organisation. It represents all EV users and enthusiasts and has branches in all states and territories.

AEVA advocates to government and industry for a more rapid transition to EVs. It provides critical information and other benefits to its members in a rapidly changing EV environment. For information about how AEVA is advocating for EV owners, go to https://aeva.asn.au/policy-statements

Benefits of AEVA membership include up to date information on the EV market, face to face and online advice for new EV owners, the AEVA RFID card for charging on most networks, discounts with associated businesses including car hire and social events. Terminology

In this survey, the term EV applies to electric vehicles (including cars and motorcycles) capable of being charged externally, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs)
